| Principles of Beam Delivery |
The flexibility and versatility that LASAG laser and beam delivery
offer is attracting great attention from major electronic, automotive,
robotic, medical, aerospace and other commercial product designers
and manufacturers.
Depending on the process, part handling or production environment
different kinds of delivering the laser beam to the workpiece
will be available to the end user.
- Conventional beam delivery
The laser head is mounted right on the machine. The short beam path allows
to transmit high beam quality. Examples are KLS, FLS or SLAB laser series.
- Fiber beam delivery
This setup is ideal for 3D applications with robots as well as automated
production lines. In multiplexing the laser beam one laser source can
supply up to 6 workstations simultaneously or consecutively. Examples
are SLS, KLS or FLS laser series.
