LASAG introduces New Series of Fiber Optic Laser System

   A new star of the very successful, field-proven fiber optic beam delivered welding lasers is born. LASAG’s newest creation is the EasyWelder, a Swiss quality solid-state series laser of the successful and field-proven Welding LightWare™ product family, which will be introduced at the LASER Show, Munich (Germany), June 2005.

   The EasyWelder series laser, covering a working range from 50 to 220 Watts, have been engineered to make seam and spot welding easy, and, to join challenging materials and material combinations for Electronics, the Medical Device and the Automotive industry.

   Along with the state of the art RTPS & RTCP technology, unique only to the EasyWelder, the unrivalled pulse to pulse stability down to 0.5%, the high-resolution pulse forming technology and even very long pulse lengths of up to 100ms offer extended capabilities for repeatable spot welding of brittle or high-carbonized steels, smooth weld surfaces, hermetic and crack-free welds or high-speed SHADOW welds.

   The system is available with up to 6 fiber outputs for fiber core diameters of 100, 200, 400 and 600 µm operating in time and/or energy-sharing mode with pulse on demand operation. Additional features are the integrated welding database solution EasyWeld, the completely sealed power supply, interface and software to PC terminal with Windows convenience and modem for remote operation and diagnostics.
