The laser drilling of jewels for the clock industry is a piece of LASAG history. LASAG, at that time part of the Swatch Group, was founded with the first applications for the global watch. The drilling of these crystalline materials is still very important for LASAG today.

Today we are able to achieve a average hole diameter of 50 ┬Ám. However, we are not satisfied with this achievement: Our application is involved in research on a daily basis and welcomes new challenges.

The LFS, KLS, and FLS A are best suited to drilling crystalline materials.
